This site focuses on rising the awareness of
sound in architecture; to collect information on
the topic, to share - cross disciplinary - works
of art such as Senza Misura (below) and to invite
architects and engineers to participate in creative
industry by integrating accoustic opportunities in
their existing and future designs.
Furthermore the site contains musical compo-
sitions and other (art)works made by Johannes
van Liere
On december the 16th, 2005 the world-première
of Senza Misura took place in Cultural centre
"Cultura" (Ede, the Netherlands). Senza Misura is
an archiphony, exclusively written for the Cultura-
building, designed by Kees Spanjers. During
approximately 15 minutes, 14 musicians play the
full score. The music consists of pure acoustic
sounds elicitted to the construction material
used in the Atrium of Cultura
